Privacy Policy

Your privacy is the whole point

Browsioz exists so you can view public social media content anonymously. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what we do and don't collect when you use our viewers.

The short version

Privacy in plain terms

Don't have time to read it all? Here's everything that matters in three points.

No account, no profile

You never sign in to use Browsioz, so there's no personal profile for us to build or store.

We never sell data

There's no browsing history tied to you to sell, share or trade — full stop.

Searches aren't stored

What you look up isn't saved to a personal history or linked to your identity.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Browsioz ("Browsioz", "we", "us" or "our") handles information in connection with the websites, viewers and tools we provide (collectively, the "Service"). Browsioz lets you view publicly available social media content without logging in or creating an account.

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

2. Information we collect

We designed Browsioz to collect as little as possible. We do not require you to register, and we do not ask for your name, email or any social media credentials to use the viewers.

Information you provide

  • Anything you voluntarily send us, such as the contents of a contact form or support email (e.g. your message and, if you choose to share it, your email address).

Information collected automatically

  • Standard technical data your browser sends, such as IP address, browser type, device type and approximate region, used for security, abuse prevention and aggregate analytics.
  • The username or public link you enter into a viewer, processed only to fetch the requested public content and not tied to your identity.

We do not store the queries you run as a personal, identifiable history. We can't show you a list of "things you viewed" because we don't keep one.

3. How we use information

The limited information described above is used only to:

  • Operate, maintain and improve the Service and its viewers.
  • Fetch and display the public content you request.
  • Protect the Service against fraud, abuse, spam and security threats.
  • Understand aggregate, anonymous usage trends (e.g. how many people use a tool).
  • Respond to your messages when you contact us.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not use your data to build advertising profiles.

4. Cookies & analytics

Browsioz may use essential cookies and privacy-respecting analytics to keep the Service running smoothly and to measure aggregate usage. These help us understand which tools are popular, not who you are.

  • Essential cookies — required for core functionality and security.
  • Analytics — aggregated and de-identified metrics about traffic and performance.

You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect parts of the Service.

5. Third-party content

Browsioz surfaces publicly available content that originates from third-party platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit and others. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by these platforms.

When content is loaded from a third party, that platform may process technical request data under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any platform whose content you view.

6. Data retention

Because we don't build personal profiles, there is very little to retain. Technical logs used for security and aggregate analytics are kept only for as long as needed for those purposes and are then deleted or anonymized.

Messages you send us are retained only as long as necessary to handle your request and meet any legal obligations.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of that information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Request removal of specific content surfaced through the Service.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@browsioz.com and we'll respond promptly.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes may be highlighted more prominently.
